Ebersberg's Cultural Summer
The Kulturfeuer is the most important summer festival in the town of Ebersberg in the district of the same name (state of Bavaria, administrative region of Upper Bavaria). The organizer is the association Altes Kino Ebersberg e.V., supported by the Kreissparkasse. For almost two weeks, the festival combines high-caliber stage shows with relaxed summer evenings.
Two Locations, One Atmosphere
The festival takes place in two closely connected locations:
- The Alter Speicher as a stage for ticketed shows, concerts, and cabaret
- The Klosterbauhof as a freely accessible courtyard with a beer garden, live acts, a fire pit, and light installations
In good weather, the beer garden in the Klosterbauhof opens daily from 6 p.m. Admission to the courtyard is free – with music, food, drinks, a fire pit, and light installations, it creates a place to arrive, stay, and return.

Significance
With its mix of sophisticated artistry, diverse music, cabaret, and a low-threshold, free courtyard offering, the Kulturfeuer has established itself as a cultural summer meeting point for Ebersberg and the entire district.
Kulturfeuer — edition 2026
From July 15 to 26, 2026, the Alter Speicher will be a stage for artistry, music, cabaret, and family programs for twelve days. In the neighboring Klosterbauhof, the free beer garden with live acts, a fire pit, and light installations opens daily from 6 p.m. in good weather.
Program highlights include the new artistic show "VERSUS" by Movimento, ZirkusLAB with "Reflection", concerts by Unterbiberger Hofmusik, Jamaram, and the EBE Jazz Big Band, the sing-along evening with PopUpChor, and cabaret with Luise Kinseher. For families, there is the musical "Oh, wie schön ist Panama" based on Janosch's children's book classic on July 25.

Getting There
Alter Speicher and Klosterbauhof are centrally located in Ebersberg (85560), easily accessible via Ebersberg station (S-Bahn connection towards Munich).
Tickets
Advance sales for the stage shows usually start in spring (2026: from March 2, 10 a.m.). Sales via okticket.de or by phone at 08092 2559205. The beer garden in the Klosterbauhof is free to enter.
Tip
The freely accessible Klosterbauhof with its fire pit and light installations is also worth a visit even without a ticket for the stage shows.
