Concerts with a view of Neuschwanstein
The Königswinkel Open Airs are among the most atmospheric open-air concert series in Bavaria. The venue is the Baroque Garden at the Füssen Festival Theatre in the Ostallgäu district, whose stage is partly on the water of the Forggensee and offers a direct view of Neuschwanstein Castle – a world-class backdrop.
Tradition since 2015
Since 2015, the organizer Allgäu Concerts has been bringing renowned artists to the Königswinkel. The series combines first-class live music with the unique ambiance of the Allgäu mountain landscape and the Forggensee.
Diverse Line-up 2026
The program diversity ranges from timeless pop to virtuosic classical fusion to modern indie pop and rap. Six dates are confirmed for 2026, including NENA (with the tour "WIR GEHÖREN ZUSAMMEN"), AnnenMayKantereit, Mark Forster, Montez, and Sarah Connor (under the motto "Wilde Nächte – Open Air 2026").

Königswinkel Open Airs — edition 2026
From July 22 to August 7, 2026, the Königswinkel Open Airs will take place on six dates in the Baroque Garden at the Füssen Festival Theatre – with the stage partly on the Forggensee and a view of Neuschwanstein.
The line-up ranges from pop to classical fusion to indie pop and rap. Confirmed acts include NENA with her tour "WIR GEHÖREN ZUSAMMEN", AnnenMayKantereit, Mark Forster, Montez, and Sarah Connor.

Getting There
Füssen is accessible by train (terminus of the line from Augsburg/Munich). The Festival Theatre is located on the Forggensee, a little outside the old town; shuttles and parking will be offered depending on the concert.

Tip
Several concerts were in high demand early on – early ticket purchase is recommended.
