What happens when almost all the defining Hip-Hop acts of the German 90s and 2000s come together on one stage? That's exactly what the Klassentreffen Festival answers. On the Zentraler Festplatz Berlin in the Reinickendorf district, the pioneers of the German Hip-Hop scene gather for two days at the end of August for a nostalgic, yet still energetic reunion.
The Line-up Logic
The festival consciously uses the term "Klassentreffen" (class reunion) – most acts know each other from the early years of German Hip-Hop, many have recorded tracks together, many were or are connected. The 2026 line-up reads like a history of the first twenty years of German rap:
- Kool Savas – the pioneer of the German punchline school
- Sido – Berlin battle rap and mainstream bridge-builder
- Fünf Sterne Deluxe – Hamburg school, band format
- Max Herre & Joy Denalane – Freundeskreis, Stuttgart, NeoSoul
- Eko Fresh – Cologne battle rap legend
- Afrob & Ferris MC – Stuttgart/Stuttgart, defining voices of the early 2000s
- Curse – Berlin Hip-Hop classic

The Zentraler Festplatz Berlin
The venue is the Zentraler Festplatz Berlin at Kurt-Schumacher-Damm 207 in the Reinickendorf district – one of Berlin's most important large event spaces, regularly used for Volksfeste (popular festivals), concerts, and major events. Reachable in five minutes from Flughafen Tegel station, and well-connected by public transport from all over the city.

Two days of Hip-Hop classics at the Zentraler Festplatz in Berlin-Reinickendorf. The festival brings together practically the entire first generation of German Hip-Hop in one program – from the Stuttgart pioneers (Massive Töne, Freundeskreis) to the Berlin battle rap school (Kool Savas, Sido) and the Hamburg band formats (Fünf Sterne Deluxe). Event days 12:00 PM–10:00 PM, capacity 15,000.
