HAMM800 — three days of XXL festival in the Kurhausgarten

Hamm is celebrating its 800th city anniversary in 2026. In the anniversary year, Kurparkfest800 replaces the classic Kurparkfest series of recent years — in a three-day XXL format in the Kurhausgarten Bad Hamm. From Friday, July 24 to Sunday, July 26, 2026, the city will host concerts, family programs, and an anniversary celebration in the expansive park of the Bad Hamm quarter.

Friday, July 24 — Michael Patrick Kelly on "Traces" Tour

Headliner for the opening on Friday, July 24, 2026: Michael Patrick Kelly brings his current "Traces" tour to the Kurhausgarten. The former The Kelly Family star has been successful as a solo artist in Germany for years — with hits like "iD" and "Beautiful Madness." The "Traces" tour accompanies his latest album and combines pop-folk with poetic-spiritual themes.

Saturday — Kapelle Petra turns 30

On Saturday, July 25, 2026, "kAPEllE30 SOMMA" takes place — the 30th-anniversary celebration of the Hamm cult band Kapelle Petra. The band is one of the flagships of the Hamm music scene — a wild mix of folk, indie, fun-pop, and ironic Schlager. Accompanied by guest bands "from the world's elite" (according to the organizers), Saturday evening will be the biggest Petra reunion in years.
