Showcase for the Hamburg Band Scene
The Klangkosmos festival was created in 2025 in response to a simple observation: Hamburg has an extremely active band scene – but the individual acts usually play scattered, without a festival that makes them visible as a scene. Klangkosmos changes that. Three evenings, three small to medium-sized Hamburg clubs, three acts per evening – curated, hosted, without a mass festival atmosphere.
Three Stages
The stages are carefully chosen – each brings a different character:
- Prinzenbar (Kastanienallee 20) – small, intimate stage with a theatrical character
- Molotow Club (Reeperbahn) – Hamburg's indie institution
- Uebel & Gefährlich Turmzimmer – smaller hall in the high-rise bunker on Feldstraße
Co-Presentation with Hamburg Music Press
Klangkosmos is co-presented by Rausgegangen, ByteFM, and Kulturnews – three Hamburg media outlets that actively support the local scene. The aim: the festival is not just a stage, but also a networking moment between bands, audience, and Hamburg music journalism.
