Kirchweih in the Haßbergland

The Kirchweih Aidhausen is the traditional Kirchweih of the municipality of Aidhausen in the district of Haßberge in the administrative district of Upper Franconia in Bavaria. Aidhausen belongs to the administrative community of Hofheim in Upper Franconia and is located in the Haßbergland, a rural low mountain range region. The Kirchweih is organized by the sports club TSV Aidhausen.

From Thursday to Monday

The Kirchweih lasts from Thursday to Monday. It kicks off with the "Durschtiche Dunnerschdich" at TSV. This is followed by pub singing, a TSV football match, and the erection of the Kirchweihbaum. With catering, music, and customs, the long Kirchweih weekend is celebrated.

Customs and Community

The Kirchweih Aidhausen follows the tradition of the Franconian Kirchweih, where village customs are maintained. Such Kirchweihen are important social highlights in the village year and an expression of active club life. The Kirchweihbaum and the pub singing connect the village community.
