The Kiliani-Markt in Thüngen is one of the traditional markets in the Franconian wine region. It takes place every year on or around the Sunday before St. Kilian's Day (July 8) – St. Kilian is the Apostle of the Franks and the namesake of numerous Kiliani markets in Lower Franconia. The venue is the historic Planplatz in the town center of Thüngen, a market community in the Main-Spessart district.
