Dortmund's largest pop, hip-hop, and electro festival with silent disco and four stages in the Westfalenpark
When the Westfalenpark in Dortmund becomes the hotspot for West Germany's young hip-hop and electro scene on the last weekend of July, it's Juicy Beats time. On Saturday, July 25, 2026, the next edition will take place — under the motto "Back to the Beats", which concentrates the festival character: 24 hours of beats, four stages, eight dance floors, an iconic silent disco. Around 25,000 visitors are expected — many of them young people between 14 and 30, for whom Juicy Beats is the first major festival of their lives.
What sets Juicy Beats apart from other festivals is its diversity:
The 70-hectare Westfalenpark provides the perfect setting for several parallel stages — and at the same time enough space for the 25,000 festival guests to spread out and keep waiting times low.
The first artist announcement will be on February 12, 2026; regionally and nationally popular acts are already confirmed:
For years, Juicy Beats has positioned itself as a launching pad for newcomers — many acts that play major stages today had their first performance in the Westfalenpark.
The low entry price point is part of the festival philosophy: many first-time festival-goers should be able to access it without a significant price barrier.
Juicy Beats was founded in 1996, making it one of the oldest hip-hop/electro festivals in the Ruhr area. The organizers explicitly position the festival as a springboard: for young festival visitors looking for their first festival experience — and for aspiring acts looking for their first big stage. This combination makes Juicy Beats a place where many festival careers begin — on both sides of the stage.
The Westfalenpark, one of the largest inner-city parks in Germany (70 hectares), was created in 1959 for the Federal Garden Exhibition and is now one of Dortmund's most important recreational areas. With the Florianturm (TV tower) as its landmark, expansive lawns, themed gardens, and meadows suitable for stages, it offers the ideal festival backdrop. Juicy Beats is the largest festival held here — the unique blend of big-city proximity and park atmosphere is part of the festival's DNA.
With around 588,000 inhabitants, Dortmund is the largest city in the Ruhr area — characterized by BVB Borussia Dortmund as a cultural anchor, by its university and research scene, and by its former industrial location undergoing active transformation (Phoenix Lake, Dortmund U-Tower, IT location). In the event calendar, Juicy Beats, the Mayday Festival in the Westfalenhallen, Dortmund Pride, and numerous cultural events shape the scene.
The Juicy Beats 2026 is the next edition of Dortmund's pop/hip-hop/electro festival. Day festival with 4 open-air stages and 8 dance floors in the Westfalenpark. With 25,000 expected visitors, it's one of the largest single-day festivals in NRW.
Early Bird Phase 1: €59 (limited). Phase 2: €70 (after sell-out). Next Generation Ticket 11-18 years available from Feb 12, 2026. Children up to 10 years free (accompanied). Tickets via juicybeats.net and ticket outlets.
By subway: U45/U49 to "Westfalenhallen" station or U41 to Westfalenpark. By car: A40, A1 — paid parking around the park. Due to crowds, public transport is recommended.
The Silent Disco is one of the iconic festival experiences — go at least once, even if you originally wanted to go to the main stage. Your own water is usually only allowed in Tetra Pak (max. 0.5 L) — glass and metal bottles are prohibited. Bring weatherproof clothing, as open-air events can always change. Plan for cash for stalls that only accept cash.
