Bocksteinfest at Weingut Singer-Fischer as part of the Ingelheim Wine Hof Festivals 2026 in the red wine city on the Rhine
Ingelheim am Rhein has borne the epithet Red Wine City for generations. Today, a number of family-run wineries uphold this tradition and contribute to the popular series of Ingelheim Wine Hof Festivals. Weingut Singer-Fischer is part of this tradition and invites you to the Bocksteinfest every year at the beginning of July.
From July 2nd to 4th, 2026, the winegrowing family will open their courtyard for three days of Bocksteinfest. The name refers to a traditional designation within the courtyard and underscores the popular character of the festival. The concept is wonderfully simple and precisely why it's so successful: open courtyards, wines from the producer, regional cuisine, personal contact.
The current vintages will be served in the Weingut's courtyard: Ingelheim's wine repertoire with a focus on red wine. Pinot Noir, Frühburgunder, and cuvées form the core, complemented by fresh white wines such as Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, and Müller-Thurgau, as well as rosés. The wines are served in tasting glasses, and a wine voucher system simplifies payment.
The cuisine includes typical Rhenish-Hessian dishes: Spundekäs, Handkäs with music, Bratwurst, steaks, homemade salads, cheese platters, Flammkuchen, and, depending on the day, specialities from the winegrowing family. Courtyard atmosphere, beer benches under the open sky, fairy lights in the evening.
The Bocksteinfest is part of a series of Ingelheim Wine Hof Festivals that take place over several weekends from May to August. It is one of the particularly popular Hof festivals and has a loyal regular audience from Ingelheim and the surrounding region.
The 2026 edition follows the proven concept of the Bocksteinfest: open doors, wines from the producer, courtyard atmosphere, regional specialities, and personal encounters. Three days of festivities at the start of high summer, right in the heart of the red wine city of Ingelheim.
The exact program for 2026 will be published by Weingut Singer-Fischer in due course. The structure follows the proven key points of previous years.
