Four Anniversaries, One Big Festival
The Huglfing Festival Days 2026 are an extraordinary club festival, as four local clubs are celebrating round anniversaries: 150 years of the Volunteer Fire Department, 115 years of the Young Men's Club, 105 years of the Traditional Costume Club, and 75 years of the Music Band. Huglfing is located in the Weilheim-Schongau district in the state of Bavaria, on the edge of the Pfaffenwinkel region. The festival days are organized by the specially founded Huglfing Festival Days 2026 GbR.
62nd Oberland District Music Festival
The highlight and framework of the festival is also the 62nd Oberland District Music Festival, which Huglfing is hosting in 2026. This makes the village a meeting point for numerous brass bands from the region for several days. The festival concludes on Festival Sunday with a grand parade, a marching music competition, a community choir, and a final celebration with regional bands.
Five Days of Program
The program spans five days: It begins on Wednesday with a star march from neighboring communities and a Day of Neighborliness, followed by the main anniversary day on Thursday with a grand parade and honor dances by the traditional costume clubs. Friday brings a "Waikiki" theme night with beach party vibes, and Saturday features the "Top-Class Brass Evening" with three top bands. The festival Sunday, with the District Music Festival, provides a crowning conclusion.

Getting There
Huglfing is located in the Weilheim-Schongau district between Weilheim and Murnau. By train on the Munich–Garmisch line (Huglfing station), by car via the B2. The festival activities are concentrated on the Huglfing festival grounds.
Admission and Tickets
Many parts of the program are free to attend. Admission is charged for the "Waikiki" theme night (ages 16 and up) (€7); tickets for the brass evening are available via the zünf.tick platform.
