Wine Enjoyment in a Garden Ambiance
The Hofweinfest am Garten invites you to a relaxed wine weekend at Weingut Baumann in Handthal in the Steigerwald region. The Baumann winegrowing family opens their garden and vineyards and presents the new vintages. Guests can bring picnic blankets and enjoy the ambiance between the garden and the vines, while food and drinks are served by the winery.
Wine Talk at Three Stations
A special feature is the guided wine talk: at three stations in the garden and vineyard, winemakers and sommeliers present wines from the categories "from the estate", "from the village", "from the sites", and "off the beaten track". Participants receive a stamp booklet and subsequently a ten percent discount in the winery shop.
Regional Culinary Delights
The festival combines wine enjoyment with regional cuisine: culinary delights from "Wald & Wiese" complement the wine selection. In case of bad weather, the Bremserfestscheune (a traditional barn) is available as an alternative. The Hofweinfest is an atmospheric meeting place for wine lovers in the Franconian wine region.

On May 30 and 31, 2026, Weingut Baumann will open its garden and vineyards from 12 PM for the Hofweinfest. New wines and culinary delights from "Wald & Wiese" will be presented. The guided wine talk at three stations features wines from the categories "from the estate", "from the village", "from the sites", and "off the beaten track"; participants receive a stamp booklet and a discount in the winery shop. In case of bad weather, the Bremserfestscheune will serve as an alternative.
