60 Years of the Goldstein Association Ring

Goldstein is a quiet residential district in southern Frankfurt, located between Schwanheim, Niederrad, and the Stadtwald forest. The Goldstein Association Ring was founded in 1966 — an association of local clubs that have supported community life in the district ever since. In 2026, this Association Ring celebrates its 60th anniversary.

Weekend in Goldsteinpark

The highlight of the anniversary year is the neighborhood festival on June 20 and 21, 2026, in Goldsteinpark — the green heart of the district. The large stage in the park will host all program items; surrounding it will be catering stands from the clubs and a children's area.

Saturday Evening: Roy Hammer Live

Saturday evening features Roy Hammer & die Pralinées — the now-cult Frankfurt Schlager entertainer with his band. Live music from 8 PM, preceded by a colorful club program starting at 1 PM.

Sunday: Frühschoppen and Children's Festival

Sunday begins with an ecumenical service at 11 AM — followed by the beer tapping ceremony (Frühschoppen) on stage. From 1 PM, the children's festival takes place with the Riederwald adventure playground — Frankfurt's probably best-known construction playground comes to Goldsteinpark with materials and animators.

Festival Week in the District

The neighborhood festival is the central program point of an entire festival week: In the run-up, VfL Goldstein celebrates its sports and festival tent weekend (June 3–6, Zur Waldau), and on June 13, the 40th anniversary of the Youth Center takes place at Straßburger Straße 1 — the Association Ring coordinates all dates.
