Winery Festival with Sundowner Flair
The Rolf Willy private winery in Nordheim is one of the most renowned wineries in the Württemberg wine region—a family business at Schafhohle 26 that has been producing high-quality wines and sparkling wine for decades. Nordheim is located in the district of Heilbronn, in the heart of the Württemberg wine country, surrounded by the slopes of the Heuchelberg and Stromberg hills. The annual Hoffest is the winery's most important direct sales event—and at the same time an event that goes far beyond mere tasting.
Tastings and New Vintages
The focus of the festival is on the winery's wines and sparkling wines: the typical Württemberg grape varieties—Trollinger, Schwarzriesling, Lemberger, Riesling, and Spätburgunder—are served in open tasting rooms. Particularly interesting are the product highlights of the current year, new cuvées, and limited editions, which are presented here broadly for the first time. The winery is known for its independent style—powerful red wines, modern white wines, classic Württemberger Sekt.
Regional Specialties and Cocktail Lounge
For the culinary offerings, the Hoffest collaborates with regional partners: Metzgerei Geiger Nordheim grills sausages and serves cold cuts; Zinsers Flämmle from Neipperg serves Swabian specialties; the ice cream comes from Hofladen Fräulein Schmid; a dedicated bar mixes cocktails based on Rolf Willy wines and spirits from Mozers Spirit—apple spritzer with sparkling wine, Lemberger cocktails, aperitifs with Riesling sparkling wine. A deliberately high-quality, regional culinary experience that sets the Hoffest apart from classic wine festivals.
Music and Courtyard Atmosphere
Musically, the Hoffest focuses on relaxed DJ sets, no live bands or beer tent atmosphere: Saturday 4–8 PM DJ Papacho with relaxed sundowner beats—perfect for sunset in the courtyard. In the evening, DJ Stefan Wittmann takes over indoors—playing pop, house, and classics. For children, there is a bouncy castle and games. The atmosphere is refined but not stuffy—many guests are regulars who return every year, while others are tourists from the Heilbronn region or the Black Forest.
