Open-Air Electronics at Heidebad

The Heidebeat Festival has established itself in Saarland as one of the more ambitious electronic summer events. Schmelz is located in the northern Saarlouis district, at the transition to the Hochwald region. The municipality is known for its distilling tradition (Saarländischer Hochwald-Schnaps), the Bettinger Mühle craft market, and a dense club life. Heidebeat is one of the municipality's younger festival formats and represents the modernization of the Saarland festival calendar.
