Festival at 110 Meters High

The Heaven & Hill Festival is one of the most spectacular open-air concepts on the lower Lower Rhine — celebrated on the Halde Norddeutschland, a 110-meter-high spoil tip from the city's mining past in Neukirchen-Vluyn. The spoil tip is part of the Industrial Heritage Route and offers panoramic views from its summit over the Ruhr Valley and the Lower Rhine all the way to Holland — a backdrop that no other festival in NRW can match. Event date 2026: Saturday, June 6, from 1:00 PM.

Six Stages, Six Sound Worlds

Heaven & Hill is programmatically dedicated to Electronic Music — and differentiates the broad spectrum of electronic music with six stages:

• Red Stage — Future House, Bass House, EDM (commercial mainstream)
• Silver Stage — Techno, Raw Techno, Hard Techno (in a circus tent — indoor vibe)
• Black Stage — Hardstyle, Rawstyle, Uptempo (for the Hardstyle community of the Lower Rhine, traditionally strongly represented)
• Green Stage — Bounce, Hyper Sound, Dance Trance
• Yellow Stage — all varieties of House
• Time-out Ministage — House, Tech House, Techno, and Goa (for genre-hoppers and quiet breaks)

Over 50 DJs — Confirmed Headliners

Confirmed for 2026 are, among others, the international stars:

• Coone — Belgian Hardstyle pioneer and Dirty Workz founder
• Da Hool — German Trance/House producer, world-famous for “Meet Her at the Love Parade”
• Miss K8 — Ukrainian Hardcore DJ, genre icon
• Rebelion — Dutch Hardstyle duo
• AXMO — German Hardstyle/Big Room duo

A total of over 50 DJs will perform on the six stages — a wide lineup ranging from commercial Future House and classic Trance to the hardest Hardcore.

Arrival and Shuttle Concept

The Halde Norddeutschland is located in Neukirchen-Vluyn between Moers and Geldern — easily accessible via the A 40 / A 57. The festival relies on a clear shuttle concept: paid shuttle buses run from 12:30 PM to 1:00 AM between Moers train station and the spoil tip, €7 for the round trip. Parking directly at the festival costs €10 (advance sale), alternative parking at Moers train station for €1–2. Those arriving from the Ruhr area can park affordably in Moers and take the shuttle.

Security, Tickets, Resale

Tickets are sold through official channels. Resale is exclusively permitted via the TicketSwap partner platform — a conscious effort against the black market and fakes. The spoil tip location requires enhanced security measures (no glass, bag checks, professional medical concept). Festival-goers should bring rainproof clothing and sturdy footwear — the spoil tip is an open industrial landscape, not a city park.

Neukirchen-Vluyn — The City Between Mining and Hightech

Neukirchen-Vluyn is located in the Wesel district on the western Lower Rhine, between Moers and Geldern. With around 28,000 inhabitants, the twin town is small but widely known beyond the region due to its mining past — the Niederberg colliery shaped the city until its closure in 2001. The Halde Norddeutschland is today the most prominent legacy of this era and is part of the Industrial Heritage Route. Heaven & Hill turns this industrial monument into a festival site — a fusion of mining history and electronic present, typical for the Ruhr area.
