Summer Edition in the Main-Taunus District
The city of Hattersheim am Main in the Main-Taunus district invites you on Saturday, July 4, 2026, to the fourth edition of its city center festival "Hattersheim geht (R)aus". From 2 PM to 11 PM, shops, gastronomy, clubs, and artists will transform the market square and its surroundings into a summery festival mile.
Motto 2026: Holiday Edition
The 2026 edition is under the motto "Holiday Edition". Shops, restaurants, and artists will present themselves around the theme of summer vacation: Beach Feeling, favorite vacation destinations, or creative summer ideas will be the focus. This creates a vacation-like microcosm in the middle of the city.
Two Stages, Lots of Program
The L.A. Band, which has already thrilled audiences in previous years, will once again play on the main stage at the market square. The cabaret stage in the church garden will offer a mixed program of acoustic music, comedy, and spoken word. Walking acts will roam the festival grounds. Highlight: the joint sing-along format "Hattersheim singt" with local choirs.
Handmade and Art Market
Parallel to the stage program, there will be a Handmade & Art Market with handcrafted, creative unique pieces by local designers and artisans.
Community Festival with Low-Threshold Participation
Special feature 2026: Booths for local clubs, initiatives, restaurants, and crafts will be allocated free of charge. The concept explicitly focuses on low-threshold participation – Hattersheim should celebrate itself.

Hattersheim am Main in the Main-Taunus district has around 29,000 inhabitants and is conveniently located between Frankfurt and Wiesbaden. With "Hattersheim geht (R)aus", the city has developed its own distinct summer festival format that clearly stands out from the large festivals in Wiesbaden or Frankfurt: smaller, more personal, more local. The 2026 Holiday Edition is the fourth iteration of the concept and is considered a fixed date in the economic development calendar.

Nine hours of summer program around the market square: from the market opening in the early afternoon to the joint sing-along and the L.A. Band concert in the evening. Around it: cabaret in the church garden and a handmade market with unique pieces by local creatives.

Getting There
By S-Bahn: S1 or S2 to Hattersheim, then a 5-minute walk to the market square. By car: A66 (Frankfurt–Wiesbaden), exit Hattersheim. Parking in the city center is limited – public transport is recommended.

Free admission. Food, drinks, and market goods at usual prices.
Tip
If you want to soak up the whole vibe: Come for the main band in the evening (typically after 6 PM) and stroll through the handmade market in the church garden beforehand.
