The Hasenmoorer Sommer is the annual summer festival of the Hasenmoor Volunteer Fire Brigade. It offers what characterizes classic North German fire brigade festivals: an open-air barbecue area, draft beer, mixed salad from the club kitchen, music by DJ or live band, plus speeches, awards, and anecdotes from the past year's fire brigade work. The start is scheduled for 7 PM, and the event runs into the night.
