Hansa-Park — Amusement Park Directly on the Baltic Sea

With around 1.5 million visitors per year, HANSA-PARK in Sierksdorf is one of Germany's largest amusement parks and the only one directly on the sea: the roller coasters, themed areas, and observation towers offer unusual views over the Bay of Lübeck. Opened in 1977, the park has specialized in maritime and historical themes — from "New Lübeck" (American Midwest setting) to "Spain" and "Island of Adventures" to "School of Magic".

Autumn Magic: 16 Days of Season Finale

The autumn event Autumn Magic by the Sea is the last major event of the Hansa-Park season. For sixteen days, after dark, the park is illuminated by around 2,000 glowing figures in the eleven themed areas — Peninsula of Magic, School of Magic, Dragon World, New Lübeck, Harbor, Sandy Beach themes. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic, less Halloween horror, more light magic for families.

The Highlights

Several program points structure the evening:

• Light Parade from approx. 7:30 PM — over a million lights on themed floats and costumes, a silently sparkling procession through the park.
• Evening Show "Adrienne and the Rainbow" on the Plaza del Mar around 8:30 PM — with acrobatics, dance, and spectacular fireworks from the stone arena.
• Sea of Flowers Boat Trip — a water ride through almost 1,000 light figures illuminated to classical music, a highlight especially after dark.
• Thanksgiving Theme World in the New Lübeck theme area — American-style Thanksgiving with pumpkins, corn, and autumn decorations.
• Food Village on the terrace of the World Sailors' restaurant — specialties from bratwurst to pasta, mulled wine, and punch.

Sierksdorf on the Bay of Lübeck

Sierksdorf is located in the Ostholstein district in the state of Schleswig-Holstein, directly on the Baltic coast between Lübeck and Heiligenhafen. The park is easily accessible via the A1 motorway (exit Neustadt-Mitte) and by train (Sierksdorf station directly at the park). Overnight stays are possible on the park grounds at the Hansa-Park Resort.
