Summer Tradition in the Mühldorf Region
The Haager Straßenfest is one of the most popular summer festivals in the district of Mühldorf am Inn. The historic town center of Markt Haag in Upper Bavaria becomes car-free for a day, transforming into a colorful festival mile stretching from Wasserburger Straße to Hauptstraße, and from Bräuhausplatz via the market square to the Schlosshof.
Program Around the Beautiful Squares
Mayor Sissi Schätz describes the festival as "a festival for young and old, for the whole family, and for the town center of Haag without car traffic." Music, gastronomy, games, and stalls from local clubs are spread across several squares. A large flea market along the streets complements the program and traditionally attracts bargain hunters from the entire Inn-Salzach region.
After-Work Party and Garden Bar
The evening before the street festival, an after-work party kicks off at the market square with a relaxed atmosphere, summer drinks, small snacks, a bonfire, and music. On the festival day itself, a Garden Bar & Lounge is set up in the Schlosshof, where the celebration continues well past midnight.
Haag im Markt
Markt Haag in Upper Bavaria is located between Wasserburg am Inn and Mühldorf in southern Upper Bavaria. The castle, the market square, and the surrounding alleys form a closed, compact old town backdrop – ideal as a setting for a street festival with Franconian-Bavarian tradition.
Haager Straßenfest — edition 2026
The festival mile stretches from Wasserburger Straße to Hauptstraße, and from Bräuhausplatz via the market square to the Schlosshof. Music, gastronomy, a flea market, and children's activities await on several squares. The evening before, the season is kicked off with a relaxed after-work party at the market square, and on the festival day, the Schlosshof transforms into a Garden Bar & Lounge with extended closing hours.

Friday, June 27, 2026 – Eve
- Evening — After-Work Party at the market square with summer drinks, small snacks, bonfire, and music
Sunday, June 28, 2026 – Street Festival
- 12:30 PM — Flea market setup
- 2:00 PM — Opening of the flea market and festival operations from Wasserburger Straße to the Schlosshof
- All day — Market stalls from local clubs, live music on several squares, children's area, gastronomy
- Until 1:00 AM — Festival operations in the car-free town center
- Until 3:00 AM — Garden Bar & Lounge in the Schlosshof

Getting There
Haag i.OB is located between Wasserburg am Inn and Mühldorf. By car via the B12 or the state road from Wasserburg or Mühldorf, respectively. During the festival, the town center is car-free – parking is available on the outskirts.
Admission
Free admission to the entire street festival.
Rain Date
In case of bad weather, the street festival will be postponed to the following day (Sunday). Current information at markt-haag.de.
