Summer Tradition in the Mühldorf Region

The Haager Straßenfest is one of the most popular summer festivals in the district of Mühldorf am Inn. The historic town center of Markt Haag in Upper Bavaria becomes car-free for a day, transforming into a colorful festival mile stretching from Wasserburger Straße to Hauptstraße, and from Bräuhausplatz via the market square to the Schlosshof.

Program Around the Beautiful Squares

Mayor Sissi Schätz describes the festival as "a festival for young and old, for the whole family, and for the town center of Haag without car traffic." Music, gastronomy, games, and stalls from local clubs are spread across several squares. A large flea market along the streets complements the program and traditionally attracts bargain hunters from the entire Inn-Salzach region.

After-Work Party and Garden Bar

The evening before the street festival, an after-work party kicks off at the market square with a relaxed atmosphere, summer drinks, small snacks, a bonfire, and music. On the festival day itself, a Garden Bar & Lounge is set up in the Schlosshof, where the celebration continues well past midnight.

Haag im Markt

Markt Haag in Upper Bavaria is located between Wasserburg am Inn and Mühldorf in southern Upper Bavaria. The castle, the market square, and the surrounding alleys form a closed, compact old town backdrop – ideal as a setting for a street festival with Franconian-Bavarian tradition.
