Family festival around the Börgerhus
The Groß Klein District Festival is a fixed date in the calendar of the Rostock district of the same name. The organizer is the Börgerhus, the district and community centre of Groß Klein, which, together with the district association, shapes the neighbourhood life in the northwest of the Hanseatic city. The festival takes place around the Börgerhus at Gerüstbauerring and invites the entire neighbourhood to celebrate together.
The focus of the district festival is a diverse programme for children and families. A bouncy castle, a games street with various stations, face painting, and a football tournament invite younger visitors to romp around and participate. A special attraction is VR diving, which offers children an underwater experience using virtual reality technology.
Dance performances and live music provide entertainment on the festival stage. Groups and performers from the district showcase their talents and contribute to the festival day with music and dance. Thus, the district festival also becomes a stage for the diversity of local clubs and initiatives.
