The Lichtenhagen Neighbourhood Festival is the communal highlight in the annual calendar of Rostock's district. The venue is Lichtenhäger Brink, the central square of the district, which transforms into a colourful promenade on this day. The festival is an invitation to all residents to celebrate together and experience the district from its vibrant side.

The neighbourhood festival is organised by RGS Rostock and the Lichtenhagen District Management. However, the festival thrives on the participation of many: clubs, social institutions, schools, kindergartens, and local initiatives are represented with stands and activities. Thus, the festival becomes a reflection of district life.

Programme for All Generations

A stage provides a varied programme, complemented by numerous movement, creative, health, and information activities. Families will find a wide range of hands-on activities – from face painting to small competitions. Admission is free, making the festival open to everyone.
