Overview
The Grand Schlemm 2025 traditionally took place in May on the beach of the Kaiserbäder. Top chefs from the island served a ten-course menu at ten stations, accompanied by wines from selected vintners. As in previous years, the event was sold out in advance and is considered a culinary highlight in northern Germany.
In 2025, the Grand Schlemm continued its success story as a top culinary event on the Baltic Sea. Top chefs from the Kaiserbäder Ahlbeck, Heringsdorf, and Bansin joined forces for a day to present a joint ten-course menu at ten stations on the beach. The selected wine pairings were personally presented at the table by invited vintners from Germany and Austria. As in previous years, the event was sold out well in advance – proof of the firm place the Grand Schlemm has secured in the German gourmet scene.
