Golm is a district of the state capital Potsdam on the western outskirts. Characterized by its historical village setting and the current university and research campus (University of Potsdam, Max Planck Institute for Colloids and Interface Science, Fraunhofer Institutes), Golm has an unusual mix of village and university culture.
On Sunday, August 30, 2026, the Golm local council invites you to the annual village festival in the village center. The festival brings together the long-established village population with students, researchers, and their families.

One-day village festival in the center of Golm. Classic format with a stage, stands, and a children's program — a bridge between the village population and university/research members.
You can reach Golm from Potsdam Central Station with the RB21 in 7–10 minutes to Potsdam-Golm station. From the station, it's a 10-minute walk to the village center.
