GLÜCKSGEFÜHLE — Phenomenon from Hockenheim

Since its first edition in 2023, the GLÜCKSGEFÜHLE Festival has established itself with unprecedented speed: What started as an ambitious newcomer festival at the Hockenheimring is now considered one of the biggest music festivals in Germany — measured by visitor numbers, artist lineup, and internationality. The 4th edition in 2026, from September 3rd to 6th, continues this course.

Four Days, Three Stages

The concept is clear: Maximum diversity. Four festival days from Thursday to Sunday, three main stages, plus special setups for DJs and late-night programs. Over 40 hours of live music spread throughout the entire weekend — not a day without a program highlight.

Lineup 2026 — The Confirmed Acts

The announced 2026 lineup combines stadium pop, rap headliners, and EDM giants:

Pop and Rap

  • Ayliva — one of the most successful German pop artists of the present day
  • Mark Forster — king of singalong pop in German arenas
  • Marteria — Rostock rap heavyweight with stadium experience

EDM and House

  • David Guetta — French DJ superstar, one of the biggest names in global EDM
  • Hardwell — Dutch DJ, multiple #1 in DJ Mag Top 100
  • Boris Brejcha — German High-Tech Minimal DJ with cult status

Party and Eurodance

  • Scooter — the Hamburg hyper-rave legends, still going strong

Plus over 40 more acts on the three stages — from emerging German hip-hop artists to international EDM stars, from indie pop to hardstyle. Full stage splits will be released in spring 2026.

250,000 Visitors and 30,000 Campers

Expectations for 2026: over 250,000 visitors over four days, including up to 30,000 campers. The festival grounds cover around one million square meters — the entire Hockenheimring, including pit lanes, infield areas, and adjacent camping sites, will be used.

Hockenheimring — The Ideal Stage

The Hockenheimring is Germany's most famous racetrack alongside the Nürburgring — home to the Formula 1 Grand Prix (until 2019) and DTM. The infrastructure is perfect for large events: Grandstands with seating for hundreds of thousands, wide asphalt areas for stage setups, surrounding camping areas, connections to the A 6 and A 61 motorways, and Hockenheim train station just 10 minutes away. The Ring setting also has an iconic quality — you dance under headliner pyrotechnics with a view of the grandstands, behind which lie the gas station and pit lanes.

Camping and Infrastructure

Designated camping areas directly on the festival grounds — standard tent camping, premium camping with sanitary facilities, motorhome pitches. Hotel packages in Hockenheim and the surrounding area (Speyer, Schwetzingen, Mannheim) are offered through partner providers — ideal for festival guests who want to combine the festival experience with hotel comfort. Public transport connections are good — a shuttle service runs from Hockenheim Hbf to the Ring.

Hockenheim and the Rhine-Neckar Region

The town of Hockenheim (AGS 08226, Rhein-Neckar district) is located between Heidelberg and Mannheim in the Upper Rhine Plain. Outside of festival and race dates, it's a rather quiet medium-sized town with around 22,000 inhabitants — during the GLÜCKSGEFÜHLE weekend, the population tenfold. The festival is now the largest annual event in the entire Rhine-Neckar region and an important economic factor for hotels, gastronomy, and retail in the area.
