Glimmer & Sea Fire – Autumn Event Kaiserbäder

New Event for the Autumn Season

Glimmer & Sea Fire – Autumn Lights Up is a brand-new format from the Kaiserbäder Island Usedom. With its premiere in November 2026, the aim is to strengthen the region's tourist appeal during the off-season and further establish the Kaiserbäder brand. Around €80,000 is planned in the Kaiserbäder budget for this, supplemented by grants and sponsorships.

Three Days of Light Magic

The event focuses on a combination of visual staging and culinary experiences:

• Light installations along the promenades and at prominent architectural landmarks of the spa architecture
• Artistic performances: shows, dance, music
• Sunrise concert on the Baltic Sea beach for early risers
• Autumn brunch with regional specialties
• Culinary offerings from beachside restaurants and hotels
• Relay fireworks as a highlight: pyrotechnics move through all three Kaiserbäder

Three Resorts, One Concept

As with the XXL Beach Fireworks on German Unity Day, all three Kaiserbäder are participating together: Ahlbeck, Heringsdorf, and Bansin. With the UBB (Usedom Bäderbahn), guests can switch between the resorts in just a few minutes and thus participate in several program points. The municipality of Ostseebad Heringsdorf is located in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district.

Tourist Destination: Strengthening the Off-Season

With Glimmer & Sea Fire, the Kaiserbäder are pursuing a strategy of year-round attractiveness. Baltic Lights in March and the XXL Beach Fireworks on October 3rd have already shown that special events outside the classic summer season attract guests to the Baltic Sea. The new autumn event is intended to fill this gap in the event calendar between October and Advent.
