Schleizer Dreieck — Germany's Oldest Natural Road Course

The Schleizer Dreieck is a circuit made up of public country roads around the Thuringian town of Schleiz in the Saale-Orla district in the state of Thuringia — not a classic circuit race like the Nürburgring or Hockenheim, but a natural road that is closed off for races and secured with straw bales and tire stacks. The first race took place in 1923 — making the Schleizer Dreieck one of Germany's oldest and most traditional race tracks. The circuit celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2023.

German TT — Its Own Race Series

The German TT — organized by MAXX Moto GmbH — has been a permanent fixture of the Schleiz racing summer for several years. In contrast to the classic Schleizer Dreieck race (June, organized by MSC Schleizer Dreieck e.V.), the German TT is its own race event with internationally advertised classes, multi-day standings, and a large supporting program.

2026 — Three Days of Motorsport

In 2026, the German TT runs from July 24 to 26. Three days of practice, qualifying, and racing on the natural road course. Paddock camping is available, and the supporting program includes fan areas, pit walks, and autograph sessions with the riders. Other Schleiz race dates in 2026: 91st International Schleizer Dreieck Race June 12–14, VFV Classic Grand Prix July 3–5, ADAC Super-Moto September 11–13.
