An evening that invites peace and inner reflection: During GEISTZeit at Waldsassen Abbey, the Cistercian nuns of the abbey, together with choirs, create a spiritual evening with a candlelight procession through the baroque cloister, communal singing and prayer, a sermon, and the eucharistic blessing. In the magnificent collegiate basilica of the northern Upper Palatinate, a dense spiritual atmosphere is created – open to all, with free admission. GEISTZeit is organized by the Culture and Encounter Centre (KuBZ) Waldsassen.

Getting There

Waldsassen is located in the Tirschenreuth district in the northern Upper Palatinate, near the Czech border, accessible via the A93 (Mitterteich exit) and the B299. The venue is the Stiftsbasilika at Basilikaplatz 2.
