About Füchse Berlin Children's and Sports Festival

The Children's and Sports Festival of Füchse Berlin Reinickendorf is one of the established summer family events in the Reinickendorf district. For two days, starting at 11 am each day, the large club – one of Berlin's biggest grassroots sports clubs – opens its sports park at Freiheitsweg 18 to children, families, and the neighbourhood. It offers over 20 sports to try, bouncy castles, giant football, games, a large raffle, music, and dance performances. Highlight on Sunday: the Bartscherer Family Run with 1- and 2-kilometre courses and the Diaper Dash for children from one year old. Free admission.

Family Sports Festival in Northern Berlin

The Füchse Berlin Children's and Sports Festival is one of the established summer family events in the Reinickendorf district. The festival is organised by Füchse Berlin Reinickendorf e.V. – one of the capital's largest grassroots sports clubs with over 8,000 members and a broad portfolio of sports ranging from football to handball, volleyball, and gymnastics, to archery and martial arts. The venue is the club's own sports park at Freiheitsweg 18.

Over 20 Sports to Try

On both days, children can explore the club's over 20 sports stations. At the stamp stations, youngsters collect stamps and receive a Füchse Berlin Sports Badge with medal and certificate at the end. The sports programme is complemented by classic family festival elements: bouncy castles, giant football, games, a raffle, music, and dance performances on the festival stage.

Bartscherer Family Run

On Sunday, the Bartscherer Family Run is the sporting highlight: 1- and 2-kilometre courses for children and families, followed by the Diaper Dash from 12:30 pm for the little ones from one year old. The run is a tribute to a club veteran and the idea of active, low-threshold promotion of physical activity.

In the Reinickendorf Sports Park
