Benningen am Neckar is a municipality in the Ludwigsburg district with around 6,200 inhabitants, located directly on the Neckar river between Marbach and Ludwigsburg. The local angling club is one of the most active clubs in the area and operates the "Haus am See" (House on the Lake), a clubhouse directly on the Benningen lake.
