Club Festival with Danube Bank Atmosphere

Bach an der Donau is located in the district of Regensburg in the Oberpfalz, nestled between the Danube floodplains and the Bavarian Forest foothills. The Fischerfest organized by the Perlbachfishermen angling club (e.V.) has been the first major club event of the year here for years — a tradition rooted in the community's connection to fishing and the Danube River.

Fresh Fish and Delicacies

The culinary specialties of the Perlbachfishermen are at the center: freshly prepared fish dishes from the club's own waters, accompanied by Franconian-Oberpfalz classics, coffee and cake, as well as the obligatory festival beer. The regionally known entertainer Andy Kraus provides the musical entertainment, accompanying the festival with mood and folk music.

Sports Grounds as Festival Venue

The sports grounds on the outskirts of the municipality of Bach an der Donau offer covered seating and enough space for a relaxed May festival. The event is family-friendly and attracts guests from the neighboring municipalities of Donaustauf, Wörth a.d.Donau, and Wiesent.

Embedded in Club Life

The Perlbachfishermen angling club (e.V.) is a member of the Oberpfalz Fishing Association and is involved not only in the management and care of the Danube and Perlbach waters but also in local club life. The Fischerfest on May 1st is one of the reliable highlights of this commitment.
