Two Anniversaries in the Festival Tent

With the Festwoche Oberbuchen 2026, two traditional clubs are celebrating their anniversaries together: the Volunteer Fire Department Oberbuchen celebrates 100 years, and the Christian Burschenverein Bad Heilbrunn-Oberbuchen celebrates 15 years. The venue is the specially erected Oberbuchen Festival Tent in the Oberbuchen district of the Upper Bavarian municipality of Bad Heilbrunn in the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district.

Five Days of Festivities with a Packed Programme

From May 21st to 25th, 2026, the festival tent programme will cover various occasions. Thursday kicks off with the beer tapping ceremony combined with the day of clubs and businesses. Friday features the Bodwandl-Party, and Saturday offers a vintage car meeting, a seniors' afternoon, and the cabaret show "Die Calzinger Show" with Beppo Calzone. Sunday is dedicated to the Burschenverein with a church procession, festive service, and subsequent festival tent operation from 1 p.m. with the Isarkrainers. The grand finale on Monday is the large fire department festival with a parade, church procession, festive service, and a morning pint, followed by festival tent operation with the Bad Heilbrunn music band.

Tradition and Customs in the Tölzer Land

Bad Heilbrunn is a municipality in the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district, located in the heart of the Tölzer Land region between the Loisach valley and the foothills of the Alps. The volunteer fire department and the Burschenverein are essential pillars of village community life here – their joint anniversary provides a particularly festive framework for the days of celebration, with parades, festive services, and a festival tent programme ranging from brass band music to party bands and cabaret.
