The Sachrang Volunteer Fire Brigade (founded 1876) celebrates its 150th anniversary with a festival week at the marquee on Sachrang village green:

- Sunday, July 5 (Festival Sunday): Celebratory church service, parade with friendly fire brigades and clubs, joint celebration in the marquee

Getting There
Sachrang is located in the Priental valley, a district of Aschau im Chiemgau (Rosenheim district), accessible via Prientalstraße from Aschau. The festival tent is located on the Dorfanger Sachrang (Dorfstraße).

Tip
Festival Sunday on July 5th, with its celebratory church service and parade, is the highlight of the week. The journey is also worthwhile because of the beautiful location in the Priental valley.
150 Years of the Sachrang Fire Brigade
The Sachrang Volunteer Fire Brigade was founded in 1876 and in 2026 looks back on 150 years of voluntary service to the community. Sachrang is a district of the municipality of Aschau im Chiemgau in the Rosenheim district (Bavaria), idyllically located in the Priental valley at the foot of the Chiemgau Alps. The anniversary is celebrated with a multi-day festival week.
Five Days of Festivities
From July 2nd to 6th, 2026, the festival tent on Sachrang's village green will be the center of attention. There will be music, a beer and wine festival, catering, and entertainment for all ages. The patron of the festival is Simon Frank. The commanders and the executive board of the fire brigade cordially invite citizens and guests to celebrate the anniversary together.

The highlight of the festival week is the festival Sunday on July 5th. As is tradition for fire brigade anniversaries, this includes a celebratory church service, a parade with friendly fire brigades and clubs, and celebrating together in the festival tent.
