In 2025, the Sachrang Volunteer Fire Brigade prepared for its grand 150th anniversary celebration, which will take place in 2026 with a multi-day festival week at Sachrang village green.

The Sachrang Volunteer Fire Brigade, founded in 1876, has been providing voluntary service to the village community in the Priental valley for nearly a century and a half. 2025 was dedicated to the preparation of the 150th anniversary: the commanders, the executive board, and numerous helpers planned the grand festival week for 2026. Fire brigade anniversaries hold a high status in Bavaria – they honor voluntary work and strengthen community cohesion. The 2026 anniversary, with its festival week and festival Sunday, will be the social highlight for Sachrang and the municipality of Aschau im Chiemgau.
