The Ergolding Volksfest is the big spring Volksfest (traditional folk festival) in the market town of Ergolding in the Lower Bavarian district of Landshut. For five days, from Wednesday to Sunday, the festival grounds invite visitors to a hearty festival tent with brass music and party bands, a colorful amusement park with rides, and an extensive supporting program. The highlight is traditionally the beer tapping ceremony by the First Mayor. With its Bavarian festival tent culture, beer service from the Hohenthann Castle Brewery, and family atmosphere, the Volksfest is a firm fixture in the event calendar of the region around Landshut.
