Grassroots culture festival in the north — Punk, Rock'n'Roll, Ska and Reggae without the mainstream
The Enzo-Festival is Schleswig-Holstein's most determined answer to large, commercial open-airs. The motto of the organizer, the non-profit Kulturwert gGmbH, is unmistakable: 'To hell with headliners! To hell with the mainstream! We'll do it without!' Instead, the festival focuses on the international underground scene between Punk, Rock'n'Roll, Ska, Reggae, Psychobilly, and Alternative — bands from Germany, Denmark, Scotland, Argentina, and the Netherlands share two stages.
The 2026 program includes:
A total of around 20 bands over two days — the focus is on unknown and underrepresented artists.
Free camping from Friday 9 AM directly on the festival grounds — Wagersrott is a small community of about 100 inhabitants in the Süderbrarup office, the festival is nestled in meadows and forests. No city in the background, no hustle and bustle, no sponsor architecture — instead, a self-organized, almost familiar atmosphere where band members, helpers, and the audience are hardly distinguishable from each other.
The municipality of Wagersrott is located in the Schleswig-Flensburg district, in the state of Schleswig-Holstein, roughly halfway between Schleswig and Kappeln. The festival site Pommerholm is set up outside the village on a former farmstead — a classic open-air venue, with an outdoor stage, catering, and camping. The Enzo-Festival has established itself in recent years as a fixture on the northern German festival calendar, attracting a loyal audience from Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg, Denmark, and beyond the Northern European punk scene.
The 2026 edition consistently continues the festival's commitment to the underground: bands from Germany, Denmark, Scotland, Argentina, the Netherlands, and Scotland mix on two stages, without a single headliner dominating the program. Genre spectrum: Punk, Rock'n'Roll, Ska, Reggae, Psychobilly, Garage, Alternative.
As always, camping is free from Friday 9 AM and included in the ticket price. The organizer strongly advises purchasing tickets in advance (valid until July 31st, 2026). Catering is provided by locally organized stalls, with vegetarian and vegan options available.
The final program overview and set times will be published in July 2026 on enzo-festival.de and in the festival app.
