Droyßig — Castle village in the Burgenlandkreis

Droyßig is a small municipality in the southern Burgenlandkreis (AGS 15084), Saxony-Anhalt, near the border with Thuringia. The landmark is Droyßig Castle with its castle park, a Baroque complex that is now used by the municipality and the Kulturverein Gemeinde Droyßig e.V. (Droyßig Community Cultural Association). Once a year in October, the castle park transforms into a market for regional products and traditional crafts.
