Poetry Slam on a Grand Scale
What usually takes place in the club Uebel & Gefährlich or the Schauspielhaus, Kampf der Künste brings to the open-air stage in Hamburg's Stadtpark once a summer: Best of Poetry Slam – Open Air. A slam format that presents the best performers from German-speaking countries to the maximum Hamburg audience.
4,000 Seats, Summer Light
The Stadtpark Open-Air Stage in Winterhude can accommodate around 4,000 spectators. Picnic blankets on the slope, stage with professional sound and lighting, the program starts at 7 PM. Unlike the typical competitive atmosphere of a slam, the open-air format creates a relaxed, almost festival-like mood.
Top Line-up 2026
The program includes, among others, Paulina Behrendt, Quichotte, Abdul Kader Chahin, Leah Weigand, Clara Lösel, and Alex Stoldt – all established stars of the German-speaking slam scene with numerous championship titles and stage presence from Hamburg to Berlin to Vienna.
