The Siedlergemeinschaft Schorkendorf e.V. — the local homeowners' association — has been organizing the festival for decades as an annual gathering for the settlers' community and the residents of Schorkendorf. Last year, 2025, the association itself celebrated its 50th anniversary as part of this festival — proof of the event's deep roots in village life.

Schorkendorf is a district of the municipality of Ahorn in the Coburg district of Upper Franconia (Bavaria). Ahorn — not to be confused with other German places named Ahorn — is located south of the city of Coburg, in the hilly Coburg region. • 5:00 PM — grand lottery/raffle
• evening — relaxed conclusion in the festival tent
