Culture Series for the Summer Months
The Kultursommer Bremervörde bundles various event formats that take place in July and August during the summer months at different locations in Bremervörde. TANDEM e.V. and the Bremervörder Bürgergemeinschaft (BBG) see the series as a platform to make the regional cultural scene visible and to strengthen Bremervörde as a cultural location in the district of Rotenburg (Wümme).
Lake Stage at Vörder See
The heart of the Kultursommer are the open-air concerts on the lake stage at Vörder See. The open-air stage, located directly on the water, offers a special atmosphere. The concert format "VörderFeierAbend" with free Thursday concerts is part of the series, complemented by other concert evenings with different musical genres from folk and singer-songwriter to pop and jazz.
BBG Cultural Stage
The BBG cultural stage is an intimate venue in the garden of the BBG premises. Smaller concerts, singer-songwriter evenings, readings, and chamber music take place here. The garden transforms into a summer lounge.
Literature and Visual Arts
Readings with regional authors, book presentations, and literary evenings complement the music program. Art exhibitions in the BBG rooms and in the city showcase works by regional artists, often in changing constellations.
Open-Air Cinema
On warm summer evenings, the open-air cinema invites you to enjoy films under the open sky. The film selection ranges from current productions and classics to documentaries with regional relevance.
Organizers and Sponsors
TANDEM e.V. is a central cultural institution in Bremervörde with its own event venue and many years of programming experience. The BBG, the Bremervörder Bürgergemeinschaft, has been committed to cultural and social life in the city for decades. Both organizations are supported for the Kultursommer by the city of Bremervörde, sponsors, and volunteers.

Bremervörde is accessible via the B 71 and B 74 federal highways. Bremervörde train station on the EVB line Bremerhaven-Buxtehude. Parking available at Vörder See and in the city center.
