The Dorffest Scherstetten follows a proven three-day rhythm: Friday evening XXL party with DJ, Saturday evening brass music by the in-house band as the main concert, Sunday with a classic car meeting and morning pint. Scherstetten Music Association
The supporting association is the Scherstetten Music Association with its brass band, which plays under the direction of Dr. Christoph Reiter. The brass band is one of the active players in the Mittelschwaben brass music scene and is in demand for both concerts and festival events. In addition, the association cultivates youth bands – the youth band traditionally has its performance on Sunday.
Scherstetten — Schwabens Mitte
Scherstetten is a municipality in the district of Augsburg (AGS 09772) in Bavarian Swabia. With around 1,000 inhabitants, it is a typical small community in rural Swabia. The village festival here has the character of a central summer event that brings together club life, village community, and visitors from outside.

The Dorffest Scherstetten 2026 spans three festival days and combines three program blocks: XXL party on Friday evening with DJ Tomcat (admission from 8:30 PM, entry fee €5), free shuttle service until 4 AM; brass music evening on Saturday with the Scherstetten brass band under Dr. Christoph Reiter (admission 7:30 PM, concert start 8:00 PM); classic car meeting on Sunday with morning pint, youth band, and festival finale with the Langenneufnach brass band.
The traditional donation campaign by the music association also applies to the 2026 edition: for every female visitor wearing a Dirndl, the association donates one euro to charitable causes.
