The 150th founding festival of the FF Gennach runs from Friday, July 3, to Sunday, July 5, 2026, at the Gennach festival grounds in the Gennach district of Langerringen. Getting There

Langerringen/Gennach is located in the Augsburg district, about 25 km south of Augsburg. By car: take the B17 (Augsburg–Landsberg am Lech), exit Bobingen or Schwabmünchen, then take the state roads towards Langerringen. By train: the nearest stations are Bobingen and Schwabmünchen, from where you can continue by bus.

150 Years Fire Brigade Gennach

The Volunteer Fire Brigade Gennach was founded in 1876 and in 2026 looks back on 150 years of club and brigade history. Gennach is a district of the municipality of Langerringen in the Augsburg district, in the Bavarian-Swabian region. The club is based at Bgm.-Fischer-Straße 10 and is part of the municipality's vibrant club life, which is evident not only in fire brigade activities but also in the carnival ball and other club festivals.

Three-day Anniversary Festival

The founding festival runs from July 3 to 5, 2026 – a classic three-day format, as is customary in Swabia and Bavaria for brigade anniversaries. The venue is the Gennach festival grounds. The opening on Friday evening is the festival evening with the opening of the festival tent and live music, Saturday brings the District Fire Brigade Day or ceremonial assembly, and Sunday features a festive church service, a festival parade of brigades from the Augsburg district, and festival operations in the tent.
