Gebersreuth – A District Between the Saale and Elster Rivers
Gebersreuth is one of the small districts of the town of Gefell, located in the south of the Saale-Orla district on the border with Bavaria and Saxony. The villages around Gefell maintain a vibrant club life – singing, sports, the volunteer fire department, and heritage associations form the social fabric.
65 Years of Gemischter Chor Gebersreuth
The Gemischter Chor Gebersreuth was founded in 1961 and has been the heart of the village's cultural life for 65 years. In 2026, the village festival coincides with this anniversary – a special occasion for the residents of Gebersreuth and friendly choirs from the Vogtland region and the Hof area.
Communal Festival for Residents and Guests
The village festival is supported by the local club life and is aimed at all residents as well as guests from the region. As usual, there will be sausages, beer from regional producers, coffee and cake from the club's kitchen, performances by the choir and, if applicable, by guest choirs, games for children, and communal gathering until the evening.
