On September 5 and 6, 2026, the Park am Kettelerplatz in Bonn-Dransdorf will transform into an open festival ground: The Dorffest der Dransdorfer Vereine is one of the most attended open-air events in the Bonn district, bringing together residents, associations, and visitors for a weekend full of neighborhood atmosphere.

Concept — the associations make the festival

What's special about this festival: It is not organized by a central event organizer, but is jointly supported by the local associations — coordinated by the Ortsausschuss Dransdorf (Dransdorf Local Committee). Each association brings its own personality: sports clubs with demonstration competitions, carnival societies with stage programs, music clubs with concerts, social groups with culinary stands. The result: a diverse program that condenses the village life of Dransdorf into a single weekend.
