The eighth edition of the Donau-Rieser Schaftag runs on September 27, 2026, from 10 AM to 5 PM. Shepherds and wool processors from the Donau-Ries region and neighboring Swabian districts will present their work on the museum grounds: herding demonstrations, shearing demonstrations, wool processing stations.

Accompanying this, there will be market stalls offering wool products, lamb specialties, and regional foods. The program is included in the regular museum admission.
