The City Festival of Dingolfing
The Dingfest is the largest festival in the city of Dingolfing in the district of Dingolfing-Landau (state of Bavaria, administrative region of Lower Bavaria). For ten days, the central Marienplatz becomes a stage for music, conviviality, and community. The organizer is the City of Dingolfing, and the main sponsor since its inception has been the BMW Group Dingolfing, supported by the Stadtwerke Dingolfing and local partners.

The year 2026 is dedicated to the 775th city anniversary. The Dingfest forms the highlight of a diverse anniversary program of exhibitions, concerts, and hands-on activities for young and old. The city sees the festival as a symbol of culture, cohesion, and joie de vivre.

Dingfest — edition 2026
From July 10th to 19th, 2026, the Dingfest will transform Marienplatz into a ten-day festival mile. As the highlight of the 775th city anniversary, the City of Dingolfing relies on a proven mix of music, football, and beer garden atmosphere. Among the headliners is reggae artist Gentleman, complemented by other national and international acts from Pop, Latin, Rock, and Folk. The FIFA World Cup matches from the quarter-finals onwards will be broadcast on a big screen. In addition, there will be themed festival days, hands-on workshops, and a children's program.
