Glubb Fans in the Wine Paradise

Ippesheim is a small market town with just under 1,000 inhabitants in the district of Neustadt a.d. Aisch-Bad Windsheim. The village is located on the southern edge of the Steigerwald, in the middle of the Franconian Wine Paradise – a wine-growing sub-region with small wine-growing communities. Here, a group of enthusiastic 1. FC Nürnberg fans founded the "Clubfreunde Ippesheim" as an official FCN fan club in 2006.

The Clubfest – 20th Edition in 2026

The annual Clubfest is the club's big summer highlight. For over 15 years, the Clubfreunde have been inviting people to the sports club and the area in front of the machine hall on a summer weekend. 2026 will see the 20th edition celebrated – a jubilee. The official club website of FCN (fcn.de) regularly reports on the festival, which is monitored and supported by the fan club support team in Nuremberg.

Franconian Fanaticism

Family-friendly prices, a great atmosphere, live music, and the famous Sau am Spieß (suckling pig) are the classics. Added to this is the obligatory goal wall shooting – after all, everyone involved is a football fan. Glubb flags, FCN jerseys, and fan scarves are ubiquitous, without making the festival too exclusive – the entire village community celebrates together, regardless of fan affiliation.

Phoenix2go

The regular musical duo is Phoenix2go – a Franconian cover band that creates a great atmosphere with rock, pop, and Schlager hits. The ASV Ippesheim (sports club) provides the sports club and the machine hall as the festival location.

Ippesheim and the Franconian Wine Paradise

Ippesheim is located in the wine-growing south of the Neustadt-Bad Windsheim district, nestled in a gentle hilly landscape. The region is also called the "Franconian Wine Paradise" – small wine villages, old monastery complexes, hiking trails. Worth seeing are the Ippesheim Castle with its castle square and the surrounding vineyards.
