Newcomer Festival in Mainfranken

Üchtelhausen is located north of Schweinfurt in the district of Schweinfurt in Lower Franconia. For years, the sports field in the Zell district has been the venue for the "Bunnycow Festival," a small, volunteer-run festival that consistently focuses on newcomer bands from the Schweinfurt and Mainfranken area, approximately 150 kilometers around. The festival is part of the Steigerwald tourism map and firmly anchored in the regional rock scene.

Concept

• Newcomer Focus: The Bunnycow Festival is specifically a stage for young regional bands — a stepping stone, not a major festival.
• Father's Day Kick-off with Free Admission: On Father's Day (Ascension Day), the festival begins with a small warm-up day, which is traditionally free of charge.
• Stylistic Variety: Pop-rock, metal, punk-rock, modern metalcore, alternative, indie — no genre specialization, but consciously broad.
• Atmospheric Specials: Cover live band during changeovers on Friday, karaoke on Saturday, "relaxed beer yoga" as a tongue-in-cheek program item, face painting and bouncy castle on family day — not a classic heavy festival format.
• Small Free Camp: Festival visitors can camp — the free camp is small, but truly free.
