Seifhennersdorf — Karasek, Carnival, and Carpathians
With around 3,700 inhabitants, Seifhennersdorf is one of the southernmost towns in Germany — right on the Czech border in the Görlitz district, at the foot of the Lusatian Mountains. The town is known for the legends surrounding the legendary captain of robbers Johann Karasek (his "Karaseks Revier" shapes tourism today) and for its vibrant club scene. The town of Seifhennersdorf and its clubs invite you to the annual Bürgerfest on the sports field. Sunday opens at 11 a.m. with the morning pint, followed by lunch, coffee afternoon, and the festival concludes at 5 p.m.
