ATP grass tournament in Stuttgart-North — one of the few grass tournaments on the World Tennis Tour between the French Open and Wimbledon
The BOSS Open is one of the few ATP World Tour grass tournaments in the short season between the French Open on clay and Wimbledon. From June 6 to 14, 2026, top players will come to Stuttgart to prepare for the English grass season. For decades, the venue has been the Tennisclub Weissenhof e.V. in Stuttgart-Nord (Parlerstraße 102-110), one of the most traditional tennis clubs in Southern Germany.
For the 2026 edition, the organizer has announced the following names:
The main draw will fill up during May 2026; the final bracket will be announced in early June.
The tournament is played as an ATP 250 event on the grass courts of TC Weissenhof. The Centre Court with its stands is the main stage, supplemented by outer courts for the first-round matches and qualification. Stuttgart-Nord is a green, upscale residential area — fitting the tournament's character: not a mega-event like the Australian Open, but a focused, atmospherically intimate tennis tournament.
Beyond the tennis itself, the BOSS Open offers a supporting program for families: Kids Days (Sunday to Tuesday) with reduced admission prices for children and teenagers up to 16 years old, autograph sessions with the pros, a mini-court for children to play on, and interactive stations. An Inclusion Day and sustainability initiatives have been part of the program for years.
Stuttgart-Nord is a green, middle-class residential area between Killesberg and the city center. During the tournament, tennis life for nine days is concentrated at TC Weissenhof on Parlerstraße — usually a quiet tennis facility, but in the second week of June, it becomes the center of German professional tennis.
The BOSS Open 2026, as an ATP 250 grass tournament, is one of the few preparation tournaments for Wimbledon and thus a mandatory stop for top players on the world tour. The announced field includes Alexander Zverev, defending champion Taylor Fritz, Matteo Berrettini, Frances Tiafoe, Tommy Paul, Jan-Lennard Struff, and Nick Kyrgios. The final main draw will be announced in early June.
Beyond the pure sports program, the tournament offers family activities — Kids Days with reduced tickets from Sunday to Tuesday, a mini-court for children, autograph sessions with the pros, and interactive stations. An Inclusion Day and sustainability initiatives round off the program.
Final draw will be published in early June 2026 on bossopen.com.
