The Blaubeerfest Eggesin is the most important summer folk festival date in the small town of Eggesin in southeastern Vorpommern – and the only major blueberry event in all of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. At the four-sided farm around the Blaubeerscheune (blueberry barn), everything to do with the blue berry as a symbol of the region's natural wealth is celebrated once a year in July. The program includes a Pomeranian farmers' market, a children's area, live music – and every two years, the crowning of the new Blueberry Queen.

The 22nd Blaubeerfest in Eggesin will take place on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at the four-sided farm at the Blaubeerscheune. On Saturday, July 18, 2026, Eggesin will celebrate its 22nd Blaubeerfest at the four-sided farm, Stettiner Straße 1. The festival begins in the morning with the opening of the market and lasts throughout the day.

The program includes a Pomeranian farmers' market with natural products and handicrafts, stalls with regional specialties featuring blueberries (jams, liqueurs, baked goods), live music on stage, and a children's program with games and hands-on activities. The reigning Blueberry Queens will be present and will give official greetings.

By car via the A20 (exit Friedland), then the B109 or country roads to Eggesin. By train via Pasewalk, then bus, or via the Berlin–Greifswald–Eggesin line (final stop). Festival grounds address: Stettiner Straße 1, 17367 Eggesin.

About the Festival

Eggesin is located on the Stettiner Haff in the extreme southeast of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district.
